Did you know that you can export your Facebook? If you are tired of, want to start a new page, or just want to store a copy, you can create an export and keep all your photos, posts, etc. It has always been hard to ditch Facebook because of the enormous amount of data some of us have accumulated over the years. Posts, files, notes, etc.

Export Your Facebook

Here is what you need to do to export your Facebook.

  • Open your Facebook profile.
  • In the top-right, click on the down arrow for the menu.
  • Click on Settings & Privacy, and then on Settings.
  • On the left, click on Your Facebook information.
  • Click on Transfer a copy of your information.

You’ll be asked to enter your password again, and from there, you can choose what you would like to transfer. You can transfer photos, videos, posts, or notes, but you can only transfer one category at a time.

You can also move your data to another platform. Facebook has a tool that they recently renamed the Data Portability Tool to transfer your information. You can find this in your Facebook settings. If you really wanted to leave Facebook, you can still keep all your data and move it over to Dropbox, Google, Apple or even WordPress.
