3Day Atlanta Team – Marilyn’s Elves
The Susan G. Komen Atlanta 3 Day walk kicked off October 17, and ended 60 miles later at Turner Field on 10/19. Tier3MD helps sponsor 3Day Atlanta Team.

Marilyn’s Elves
Marilyn’s Elves were “born” in 2006 when a team was created to celebrate Marilyn’s recovery from her breast cancer dianosis in 2005. The team walked with Marilyn in the Komen Race for the Cure and later that year, Marilyn served as a volunteer for the 3Day. In 2007, she celebrated her 65th birthday by walking all 60 miles in the Atlanta 3Day. Marilyn served on the 3Day crew in 2008 and 2009. She LOVED the 3Day! Marilyn was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2010 and passed away before the 3Day walk. We continue to walk in her memory. We walk to remember and celebrate all the special people in our lives that have battled breast cancer. And we walk to support efforts to find a cure.
