I love October. It is by far my favorite month of the year. The weather is changing and becoming more manageable, the leaves are starting to turn, apples are growing in the orchards, and the electric blanket is at the dry cleaners.
As the Chairman of Georgia Breast Cancer, breast cancer awareness month is always filled with fundraising and great events to attend. People are so kind to support Georgia Breast Cancer, and I am very proud to leave this outstanding Board of Directors. On Friday, October 19th, we will have our signature event, The Pink Cork. It will be at the Buckhead Club beginning at 6:30pm. It will be outstanding!
I Love October
As a sports fan, how can you not love October? Baseball World Series is going on, NFL Football in in the swing, and NHL Hockey has started. Basketball is next. So much going on in October.
If you are a medical practice, you need to start thinking about your security risk assessment. If you would like to get it done before the end of the year, you hopefully have it scheduled. There is much more to do at the end of the year for a medical practice. You want to work on your financials, make yearly backups of your EMR, Quickbooks, etc. You may even be planning a Holiday party. Whatever it is, getting started in October will help you accomplish everything you want to do before we ring in 2019.
